A Case of Leiomyoma of the Nasal Cavity

Abstract

|
Leiomyomas are benign smooth muscle tumors most commonly found in the uterus, skin, and gastro-intestinal tracts. Leiomyomas of the nasal cavity are very rare. We experienced one case of leiomyoma arising from the superior portion of the nasal septum, which was completely removed by endoscopic approach. No recurrence was noted at the 18 month follow up.
